Monday 6th June
It’s the start of the last week
of rehearsals before our performances. This means it was of the utmost
importance that we used all the time we had left to make sure we were ready and
fully prepared. Today Kelly was working with Mrs Lyons and Mrs Johnston, whilst
she was doing this myself and one of the ‘Eddie’s’ decided to run through all
of our scenes together. We wanted to make sure that we had fully memorised our
lines and that we knew what we were doing in the scenes. As well as working on
our production of ‘Blood Brothers’ we also had a LAMDA workshop. This was excellent,
we went through some different scripts and analysed them. We were asking the
questions of where we are, who we are and who these characters really are. This
made me realise how much work we as actors must put into our roles and all the
details they put into even small scenes.
