Week Two - Tuesday

 

For today our class had the task of watching the new Year Ones performing a scene. In the scene not a word was to be said, everything had to be put across using facial expressions and body language. We had done the same task a year previously and filmed the scenes to look back on. This is actually a very interesting task to do, it makes you appreciate how much you (as an actor) need to show the emotions on your face and not just rely on the script to tell the story. Nonetheless today wasn’t about us, it was about the new class. We watched their performances and then had to guess what emotions they were trying to portray. They were good and it was funny to see what they could come up with.
